ZeroPe – Medical Bill payments Startup

ZeroPe, a fintech app, offers loans for medical expenses and healthcare needs, with financing options extending up to Rs 5 lakh.

Ashneer Grover, co-founder of BharatPe, along with Aseem Ghavri, introduced ZeroPe, a fresh fintech app specializing in medical bill payments.

As per its Google Play Store description, ZeroPe is crafted by Delhi’s Third Unicorn, founded by Grover and Ghavri post Grover’s exit from BharatPe. Last year, Third Unicorn introduced CrickPe, a fantasy cricket app for real-money gaming.

As stated in the Play Store description, our app is crafted to streamline the loan process and facilitate seamless healthcare payments.

According to its website, the platform offers financing up to Rs 5 lakh for medical expenses. ZeroPe has teamed up with Delhi-based NBFC, Mukut Finvest, as its lending partner.

Recently, India’s fintech scene has seen the emergence of similar startups like QubeHealth and SaveIn, providing instant financing for medical emergencies. QubeHealth, offering medical bill financing, is preparing to secure $6-9 million in Series A funding.

In February last year, ZNL Growth Fund led a funding round of $3.5-4 million for Grover’s Third Unicorn. Aseem Ghavri, Third Unicorn’s Co-founder, previously spearheaded Code Brew Labs, the enterprise app development company behind BharatPe’s original app.
