Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, the newly minted billionaire and CEO of Zomato, has treated himself to a striking yellow Bentley Continental GT Speed, valued at ₹6.5 crore. Recently spotted at a traffic signal, this new addition to his collection further highlights his passion for luxury vehicles. The Bentley Continental GT Speed joins his impressive lineup, which includes a Ferrari Roma, Aston Martin DB12, Porsche 911 Turbo S, and more.

As of now, India has 200 billionaires according to Forbes, and Deepinder Goyal is among them. His billionaire status came after Zomato shares reached record highs recently. Goyal, who owns a 4.2% stake in Zomato, has seen his net worth soar to ₹8,400 crore, thanks to a remarkable 300% increase in the company’s shares over the past two years, as reported by Financial Express. Goyal, an IIT Delhi alumnus, founded the food delivery platform in 2008 and has achieved significant success since.

Besides his entrepreneurial achievements, Goyal is known for his love of luxurious cars. His latest acquisition, the Bentley Continental GT Speed, stands out with its glossy black 21-inch alloy wheels and powerful W12 engine, which delivers 771 bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 335 kmph. It also features the Bentley Performance Active Chassis package, enhancing its handling across various driving conditions.

Its bold design includes a distinctive radiator grille and a matrix-style lower bumper grille, adding to its luxury appeal.

Earlier this year, in March 2024, Goyal also purchased India’s first Aston Martin DB12 sportscar for ₹4.59 crore. This vehicle features a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 680 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. Goyal’s car collection also boasts several other high-end models, such as the Ferrari Roma, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Porsche 911 Carrera, and Lamborghini Urus.

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal: Bentley Continental GT Speed

Deepinder Goyal was recently spotted driving his Monaco Yellow Bentley Continental GT Speed through the streets of Delhi. This model is powered by the renowned 6-liter W12 engine, which Bentley announced it will cease production of last year. The W12 engine is hand-built, features 12 cylinders, and is the second most powerful engine in Bentley’s lineup. It delivers 641 bhp and 900 Nm of torque and is paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The Continental GT Speed comes with an all-wheel-drive system as standard and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 315 kmph.

Bentley Continental GT Speed: Transition to a New Powertrain

Bentley has decided to retire the W12 engine as part of its shift towards hybrid and fully electric vehicles. The company aims to have an all-electric lineup by 2030. As a result, the Continental GT Speed will now feature a 4-liter Ultra-Performance Hybrid V8 engine, which produces 771 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque. This new powertrain offers a 20% increase in performance compared to the previous W12 engine, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 335 kmph.
